With Mag having the car today to met up for lunch with old work mates she hasn't seen for nearly 30 years I couldn't go windsurfing until late afternoon but with mainly cloudy cool conditions and a 2ish high water I wasn't bothered ! So later Mag left for the Barham Sorrel Horse I packed my camera, banana and choc bar and headed out on the bike.First stop The Dip to check the conditions as one sailor sat on the beach waiting for the wind to build, it was then onto The ferry before continuing along the River Deben path all the way to Kirton Creek. It's a long knackering bumpy path but well worth it as it's very pretty with fields of yellow rape, swans nesting and waders feeding :) I stopped at the creek for a rest and my snack before heading to Kirton and then Trimley dropping in to see David and Maggie Coles who are off in their campervan for a month - doing a formula competition in Portugal, then on to Tarifa and on the way home The Defi Wind at Gruissan :) to wish them a safe journey :) It was then up to Grimston Lane and down to the docks and onto Landguard just in time to see a huge container ship enter the port :) Then home along the prom - shattered after 5 hours out covering over 20 miles :)
